What’s included in the rent?
All units come fully furnished and include utilities, high-speed Wi-Fi, and kitchenware — so you can move in and start living right away.
Is there a minimum or maximum stay?
We typically offer 1–3 month leases, with the option to extend based on availability. If you’re looking for a shorter stay, we also have options—please reach out and we’ll help find the best fit for your needs.
Do you require a security deposit?
Yes, a modest refundable deposit is collected up front and returned after checkout, pending inspection.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis to ensure compliance with community policy. A small, one-time non-refundable fee applies.
How do I book or apply?

Can I choose my floor plan?
Yes! After booking, you’ll be redirected to a separate form where you can indicate your preferred floor plan. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request based on availability and notify you if it cannot be fulfilled.
Will I be required to sign a lease?
Similar to staying at a hotel, no traditional lease is required. When you book, you’ll agree to our rental terms and conditions, which are provided before your stay and included in your confirmation email.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will I have to share an apartment?
We are proud to offer you a "crash pad" like experience, but all to yourself -- a service that is hard to find in the market. However, if you want to share a space with a friend, ask us about our 2-bedroom availability.
Do I need a "Non A" certificate to stay?
You do not! Per Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), Table 2-14, row 6 (pg 2-28), travelers may choose to use lodging options other than Government quarters. The caveat to "denying" Government quarters is that "... the Service member is limited to the reimbursement cost of Government quarters on the assigned TDY installation." (table 2-15, row 1 pg 2-29). With this in mind, we make sure to charge the same rate as lodging on base. In other words, your stay will be completely reimbursed because our rate and your lodging per diem rate are the same.
Note: Out of our 70 plus guests (and counting), we have yet to see anyone not be reimbursed for their stay.
Do I need permission from base lodging to stay?
Negative. Your TDY program may or may not be proactive in securing lodging for you on-base. If this is the case, you may need to call and simply let them know you're not staying with them. Beyond that, we recommend not contacting them.
Whose permission do I need in order to stay with you?
Per the JTR, you don't need anyone's permission to include finance, squadron RA or DTS AO. You are well within the rules to deny government quarters and stay off base.
How do I complete my DTS authorization/voucher if I stay with TDYbnb?
The short answer is that nothing changes the process. If you are unsure, reach out and we will walk you through all the steps.
Are there upfront fees to book?
We do not charge any fees upfront to book, including a security deposit. However, like anywhere else you would stay, guests are liable for any damage caused beyond normal wear and tear during their stay.
Is there a cancellation fee?
We understand that last minute "thrash" happens often when it comes to TDYs with orders, training dates, etc. Therefore, we do not impose any cancellation fees on guests. Our only ask is that you keep us updated as soon as possible.
Will I be required to sign a lease?
When you book, you will be required to accept the rental terms and conditions. Please be sure to look them over before your arrival. They will also be attached in your confirmation email.
May I bring my pet?
We do not allow pets of any kind at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience.
What about my family?
Absolutely! One of the advantages of staying in one of our furnished apartments is that you get your own private space to enjoy with any loved ones joining you. There are no additional fees, but we ask that you let us know if you're bringing your family when you book.
How will I pay for my stay with TDYbnb?
We accept the GTC and all major credit cards. When you book, you will be asked to store a card on file. This card will be charged at the end of every month of your stay (or on your departure day, if different).
Do I get to pick what floorplan I would like?
Yes, as long as we have the availability. Simply state which floorplan you prefer in the booking notes and we'll do our best to make it happen.
