Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a "Non A" certificate to stay?
No! Under the JTR (table 2-14), travelers may choose off-base lodging instead of government quarters. We charge the same - or lower - rate as on-base lodging, ensuring your stay is fully reimbursable. For any questions, contact us — we’re here to help you navigate the regulations so you can make the best-informed decision.
What permission do I need to stay with you?
You don’t need approval from finance, your squadron RA, or DTS AO. You are fully within JTR rules to decline government quarters and stay off-base. If your TDY program proactively secures on-base lodging, simply call to cancel the reservation.
What additional fees/taxes are charged?
There are no extra fees for your TDY stay — no cancellation or change fees. Lodging tax does not apply for official government travel, ensuring you never pay out of pocket above your per diem entitlement.
How do I pay for my stay?
Per the JTR, travelers must use their government-issued card (GTC). We accept credit cards and provide an itemized receipt each time your card is charged. No prepayment for your stay is required — charges are processed at the end of each month or on your departure date.
May I bring my pet?
Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis to ensure compliance with community policy. A small, one-time non-refundable fee applies. Note: this fee is not reimbursable under the JTR and can be paid for on a different card than the GTC.
Can I choose my floor plan?
Yes! After booking, you’ll be redirected to a separate form where you can indicate your preferred floor plan. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request based on availability and notify you if it cannot be fulfilled.
Will I be required to sign a lease?
Similar to staying at a hotel, no traditional lease is required. When you book, you’ll agree to our rental terms and conditions, which are provided before your stay and included in your confirmation email.
